Rachel Smith - Logic school Science
“Muli shani?” “Bwino!” The common greeting in Kabwe, Zambia. It translates to “How are you?” “I am fine.” How are you all? I am Rachel Smith, and I am doing fine. God called my family to be missionaries in Zambia for ten years. In Kabwe, we were given the opportunity to teach Bible stories to the deaf students in a local public school. God grew the deaf ministry in many ways. The deaf students started coming to church and attending a weekly Bible study. I was regularly involved in interpreting church services for the deaf community. God brought me out of Africa where He began preparing me for teaching, to the United States where He gave me formal training in education at Grace Bible College and Cornerstone University. He has given me the privilege of teaching math and science at Libertas Christian School for the past four years. God has blessed me with my husband of five years, Duane Smith. God has blessed us with a beautiful one-year-old daughter, Hadassah Smith.
